Water Savings
The average Canadian home probably has a 13 to 24 litre toilet tank. One person uses 30 to 120 litres of water per day just to flush the toilet. You can save 7 (6 liter toilet) to 88 (24 liter toilet) litres a day after installing a Magic Flush valve kit! Don't send your fresh water down the drain! Save dollars on your water statement.
For example, a Magic Flush device installed on a 16 litre toilet tank will save approximately 11 litres each time liquids are flushed and 8 litres each time solids are flushed. Installed on a 6 litre low flow toilet, you will save water as Magic Flush saves 7 to 8 litres per day per person.
As seen on the right, savings equate to approximately 80% less water per liquid flush and 65% less water per solid flush.
Magic Flush fits most standard toilet tanks.
It is not necessary to change your entire fixture, only the flapper valve and handle. It is an easy installation and very economical. Model MF-MT fits 6” to 8” front mount lever and 28º angle mount lever toilets, also tilt flush valve toilets. This model is not for use on push-button, side handle or one-piece toilets. Watch for a valve to fit these models in the near future.
Most new homes have ULF toilets installed during construction.
Even if you already have installed an ultra low flush toilet, Magic Flush will improve your water usage immensely. Magic Flush uses only 4-6 litres for liquid waste and 6-8 litres for solid waste. If you have to hold down the handle or double flush your toilet, a Magic Flush kit will resolve the problem and use less water than a 6 litre toilet.

Water Usage in the Average Household
Check out the graph to the left:
As you can see, flushing toilets accounts for roughly 30% of the water usage in the average household. By installing a Magic Flush device, you can reduce your overall water usage. The cost of the unit would be recovered in two months, using as an example, the cost of water in the city of Calgary.
